New Activities for Treynor Days
AUGUST 19 & 20, 2006
Come show off your set of wheels at the Treynor Days Open Car Show. Registration
will begin Saturday, at 9:00 a.m., with all cars being registered by 1:00 p.m.
for judging. Cars will be on display at the Zion Congregational Church parking
lot from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Cars will be competing for trophies in
several classes and door prizes will be given away to participants. A “show
favorite” will be chosen by Treynor Days attendees’ ballots that can be
purchased for $1.00 each with awards being given at 3:30 p.m. during the Awards
Ceremony at the Treynor Community Center. Pre-registration for the car show is
$10.00 per vehicle, $12.00 registration day of show. Call Danyale Manzer

Kids decorate your bicycles, wagons, ponies, pets, lawnmowers or anything else
you can think of and join in the Treynor Days Kid’s Parade! We will meet at
10:00 a.m. in the High School back parking lot and walk down Park Street and
back up Holst. Call Cathy Temeyer 566-2699 if you have any questions or want to
sign up.
Get your taste buds ready for the 1st Annual Treynor Days Smoke-Off! Contestants
will be competing for a trophy and door prizes. From 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday
afternoon, at the Zion Church parking lot, attendees can sample the culinary
endeavors of our Smoke-Off contestants and vote for their favorite. Samples with
a ballot will be sold for $1.00 each during that time and the winner will be
announced during the Awards Ceremony at 3:30 p.m. at the Treynor Community
